My stay at Casa Anita was a mix of positives and some significant challenges. The location offered beautiful views and a charming, traditional vibe. though the noise from the nearby highway was quite disruptive. The staff were friendly and accommodating, yet I faced several issues with the management regarding my reservations, which left a sour impression on my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The accommodations I stayed in were very clean and provided a rustic charm with comfortable beds, though some furniture felt outdated. The noise from the highway was a constant bother, and one bathroom had a sewer smell that was unpleasant.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally kind and helpful, but I encountered some inconveniences regarding my prepaid reservation that they failed to honor. this made my experience quite frustrating.
Location
6.0
Casa Anita is conveniently located, just a short distance from the beach and various dining options. However, the numerous stairs can be challenging, especially after a long day exploring Puerto Vallarta.
Dining
7.0
There are several dining options nearby, which was convenient for quick meals. Plus, with the full kitchen in my suite, cooking my own meals was another option I appreciated.
Facilities
6.0
While the pools were clean and refreshing, I noticed the lack of space around them. The hotel had a nice rustic feel but could benefit from some updates to ensure a more comfortable experience.

6.6/10

My stay at Casa Anita was overall enjoyable, thanks to its beautiful traditional charm and amazing staff. The stunning views from the hilltop were a major highlight, but I did find the stairs quite challenging, especially after long days exploring downtown. The amenities could use some updating, particularly in terms of the bathrooms, but the quaintness of the place made up for it.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help when issues arose. They really made me feel welcome, which added to the positive experience.
Location

Being high up on the hill provided amazing panoramic views, and I enjoyed the walk to the Malecon. However, the steep stairs and the noise from the main highway nearby were drawbacks that should be noted.
Dining
8.0
There were several great dining options nearby which made me not even bother using the kitchenette in my unit. The convenience store just a short walk away was handy for snacks.
Facilities

The two pools were nice, though one was a tad too warm for my liking. Nonetheless, I appreciated the clean and refreshing atmosphere, even if the larger pool lacked lounging space.

5.8/10

My stay at Casa Anita had its highs and lows. The view from the hotel was absolutely amazing, but climbing the steep stairs to reach my room was a real workout. While the staff was friendly and the location was convenient, the facilities could use some updates, and I faced some frustrating service issues during my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view of the bay, where I even glimpsed dolphins swimming. However, the decor felt outdated, and the bathroom had some musty odors. It was clean, but could definitely use some renovations.
Service
5.0
The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, but I had a troubling experience with service after hours. When I requested help for something urgent, I found that staff were unavailable, which was frustrating. I also received an unexpected charge for changing sheets midway through my stay which felt quite unnecessary.
Location
8.0
The location was perfect for enjoying everything Puerto Vallarta has to offer. I loved that it was just a mile from the Malecon, making it easy to explore the vibrant area. However, be prepared for a good workout, as getting to the hotel involves navigating numerous steep steps.
Dining
7.0
While there were plenty of nearby dining options, I didn’t use the kitchen facilities as I preferred to eat out. The convenience of being close to local eateries was a huge plus, and I enjoyed exploring the culinary delights in the area.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel facilities provided essential services, but I noticed areas needing improvement, like the pool maintenance. The fact that there was no elevator made things challenging, especially after a long day of exploring. I was also disappointed by the limited access to laundry facilities during my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Anita in Puerto Vallarta. The traditional Mexican style was charming, although some areas could use a bit of updating. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which really enhanced my experience. However, I did find the noise from the nearby highway quite bothersome at times, and the pool water was on the warmer side, lacking the refreshing feel I'd hoped for.

The service was excellent throughout my stay. The housekeeping was really good, with daily cleanings, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance.
Location

The location was perfect for me, not too close to the bustling areas, yet just a short walk to many restaurants and the beach. However, I did find the noise from the main highway disruptive, especially at night.
Dining
8.0
Dining options nearby were convenient, with a Subway and an OXXO just around the corner for snacks and basic groceries. I enjoyed the local flavor at nearby restaurants.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities, including the pools, were clean but could use some upgrades. The upper pool was often too warm, and the loungers could use replacing. Also, WiFi was spotty during my stay, which was quite frustrating.

I had a good stay at Casa Anita, where the amazing views from my room were definitely the highlight. The location is a bit away from the hustle and bustle but still walkable to the beach and eateries. However, the multitude of stairs can be a challenge for some, and I found a bit of noise from the nearby highway. Overall, it’s a clean and affordable option, though not without its quirks.

Rooms

My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view from my patio, which made for lovely evenings.
Service

The service was generally good, but I did experience some bumps. particularly with the lack of availability for certain amenities, which felt a bit off at times.

The hotel's location is great. it's conveniently close to restaurants and the beach, yet far enough to offer a nice escape from the noise.
Dining

While I didn’t dine at the hotel, many eateries are just a walk away. I appreciated being close to local spots for breakfast and lunch.
Facilities

The hotel had a nice setup with clean common areas and a couple of pools. though I didn’t use the pools much during my trip.
